Browse all sixteen control planes of the Karabiner rules, inspect any key, rename the application shortcuts, and export a JSON file to import.
Pick a control plane from the table or by clicking the left-side modifiers, then click any key to see the Karabiner rule behind it. Keys that launch an application can be renamed. Your edits stay in this page until you copy or download the JSON; nothing is sent anywhere.

Import your copy
- Choose Download config. The file is named
capslock-3.1.0-custom.json. - Move it into
~/.config/karabiner/assets/complex_modifications/. - In Karabiner-Elements › Settings › Complex Modifications, remove the original Capslock rules, choose Add predefined rule, and enable the rules from your file.
The import link on Install always fetches the unmodified configuration, so use it to go back to the defaults.
